The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held at Mystic Falls inside Sam's Town, Las Vegas. Flipping the switch will be Boyd Gaming's Executive Chairman Bill Boyd along with his grandson Staff Sgt. Sam Boyd, as well as, Sam's Town VP & GM John Sou. Sharing in the festivites of this night will be the Chaparral High School Choir, Cowboy Santa & Mrs. Claus too.
Following the tree lighting will be the first 15 minute laser light waterfall/fountain show that is Christmas themed complete with snow! After that the shows will be running nightly on the hour between 5pm & 10pm from November 21st 2012 through January 1st 2013.
Be sure to stop by the Gazebo to visit with Cowboy Santa & Mrs. Claus every Friday through Sunday from November 23rd until December 23rd. Cowboy Santa will be there on Thursdays & Fridays from 4pm-8pm, Saturdays & Sundays from Noon-8pm before tending to his Christmas Eve duties dontcha know.
For those interested in giving back: Sam's Town has been currently hosting a drive to help the Armed Forces again Oct. 26th-Nov.21st. Donate your old cellphones, chargers, batteries to the Cellphones for Soldiers Program. This non-profit organization has raised to date over $2 Million in donations & distributed 500,000+ prepaid phone cards to soldiers who are serving overseas! 1 phone donation = 1 hour of talk time to the soldiers serving abroad. To participate please dropoff your used cellphone donation to the B Connected Club desk inside Sam's Town. Your donation will earn you a 2 for 1 coupon to redeem at Sam's Town's Firelight Buffet too!
